TID is a treatment used for patients who suffer with severe male factor infertility or azoospermia.
TID is used for men who have severe testicular failure. These men suffer with azoospermia with no sperms on testicular biopsy and men with oligoasthenozoospermia who cannot afford ICSI.
TID is used when couples need to use a sperm donor. Sperm donor is recommended when the male partner has problems with sperm quality or production, including when the sperm is of very poor quality, or if there is a high risk of passing on a genetic disease.
